Delete assets
Phase 1 preview — pages render fixture data only; no changes are saved.
The whole delete would be refused. Legacy rejects the whole batch before changing anything: Checked out: TC-00022 — It is checked out to TC-00001 · Maya's MacBook Pro. Legacy refuses the whole batch until it is checked in.
Deleting is a soft delete. Deleted assets keep their history and can be restored from the Deleted list; related licenses, components, accessories and maintenances stay linked.

- Batch rule: some conditions reject the entire batch before anything is written; other assets that can't proceed are skipped and the rest go ahead.
- Soft delete: the asset keeps its history and can be restored from the Deleted list.
- Legacy also removes the asset's external-source rows. Licenses, components, accessories, maintenances and child assets are not checked.
